Clinton Russell – Head Professional
Clinton Russell is the Head Golf Professional at Northbridge Golf Club. With a passion for the game of golf, he has dedicated his career to helping players improve their skills and achieve their goals on the golf course. As a PGA member for over 20 years, he brings a wealth of experience and expertise to every lesson and interaction.
Known as the ‘beginner whisperer,’ he takes great pride in the ability to connect with novice golfers and provide them with a solid foundation for their golfing journey. Whether it’s teaching the basics of grip and stance or helping them refine their swing mechanics, he strives to make the learning process enjoyable and accessible to all.
In addition to Clinton’s coaching abilities, he is also a skilled golfer. He honed his skills through years of practice and competition based at Royal Melbourne Golf Club Australia’s premiere golf course. This firsthand experience allows him to offer valuable insights and strategies to players of all skill levels.
He is truly passionate about the game of golf and the positive impact it can have on people’s lives. Whether you’re a seasoned player looking to improve your game or a beginner taking your first swing, he is here to guide and support you on your golfing journey.
Todd Brown – Golf Shop Manager
Introducing Todd Brown, a golf enthusiast who embarked on his journey in the sport at the age of 14. With an impressive 11-year tenure at Power Golf Castle Hill, he honed his skills and developed a keen understanding of the game. He isn’t only an avid player but also an experienced club fitter, possessing the ability to optimize equipment for peak performance.
Since joining Northbridge Golf Club in 2018, Todd has embraced new challenges and expanded his golfing horizons. His expertise and passion for the game makes him a valuable asset to the club, where he continues to excel both on and off the course.
Makenzie Gaskin – PGA Associate
Introducing Makenzie Gaskin, a talented golfer who began playing at the age of 12. Makenzie was a member of Wallacia and Penrith golf clubs, where he honed his skills and embraced competitive play. He then attended college in West Virginia, playing golf for four years while pursuing his education.
In 2018, Makenzie started work at Riverside Oaks, where he worked for 2 years in the Pro Shop.
In 2020, Makenzie embarked on a traineeship in the golf industry at Northbridge Golf Club, further enhancing his expertise in coaching, club fitting, and course management. With his dedication and positive attitude, Makenzie is a valuable asset to the golfing community, poised to make a lasting impact in the sport.
Anthony Tan – PGA Associate
Anthony comes to Northbridge Golf Club as a knowledgeable PGA Associate, who brings a modern approach to coaching. He has a notable background that includes victories at a high junior and amateur level. As a result, Anthony was offered a full scholarship to compete for #1 NJCAA Men’s Golf Program, Ranger College in Texas, USA.
